| Our usual fortnightly stock sale was held at Opanake on the 14th instant, , when we had a good entry of both.patt.le and sheep. There was a fair demand, and the bulk of the stock yarded were disposed of before leaving the yards . At Manaia on the 15th instant, more than the advertised amount of stock car»e forward. There was a fair attendance and demand, the bulk of the stock yarded was disposed of either at or after the auction. I At Waverley on the 18th inst. we . had a heavy yarding of sheep, between 8000 and 9000 being penned, and a fair entry of cattle. There was a very large and representative attendance of buyers, and competition throughout was fairly brisk. Prices were firm, and, with the exception of a few pens of sheep everything was disposed of-, prices ruling as follows: 4-tooth to f.f.m. ewes 26s 6d, 4-th to f.m. ewes (good) 24s to 25s 6d, good f.m. ewes 23s 6d to 255, do.
