At Kakaramea on the I7^h inst., we had a fair yarding of stock, most bt wnich were disposed o# at prices rather better than tnose ruling dunng the past tew weetss. £at cows bi ought £6 17s. 6d to £7 18s. fat heifers (small) £4 13s, fresh conditioned cows £5 9s to £5 ios, forward cows £4 6s to £4 Ids, fitore cows £3 10s to £3 19s, boners £5S lOs.to £3 15s, weaner bulls £2 3s; weaner meifers 15s to £1 3s, do (small) 7s 6d to 12s 6d, full mouth ewes 9s Id, lambs 9s 6d to 11s. At Eltham on the 19th inst., we had a good yarding of stock. Prices for grown cattle showed a markod improvement; yqung'stock were dull and hard to quit. Fat' cows brought £7 18s to £9, fresh conditioned cows £5 16s to £6 l§s, forward cows £4 14s to £5 2s 6d, store cows £3 12s 6d to £4 ss, Doners £2 5s to £4 Is, cows and calves £4 15s, dairy cows £8 5s to £9, bulls £4 5s to £8 10s, 20 months steers £4 ss, weaners 12s to £1 2s .6d, forward ewes 18a 4d, full-mouth ewes in lamb 13s sd, forward lambs 12s 6d', small store lambs Bs, store pigs 21s to 30s, slips 11s 6d to 18s. At Hawena on the 20th inst,, we had a good yarding of both cattle, and sheep. There was a fairly goord all round demand and practicaljy everything was disposed of. Fat cows brought* £7 'IBs 6d to £9 12s, fresh conditioned cotts £6 2s to £7 2s 6d, forward cows £4 'Id's'to £5 12s, store cows £3 18s to £4 7s 6d; boners £2 Is to £4 Bs, springing dairy heifers £8, bulls (small) £5 to £5 ss, Shorthorn weaner steers (good) £2 4s. weaner steers 13s 6d to £1 ss, do (small) 7s 6d to 11s 6d, weaner stes?> £1 6s 6d to £1 11s, fat ewes 19s 9d to 21s 6d, fat and forward ewes 18s 9d, 2-tboth ewes 17s. full-mouth empty ewes 12s, aged ewes 8s to 9s Id, 4 and 6-tpoth store wethers 17s 6d, fat lambs 17s, forward lambs 12s. cuN larabs 7s 6d, store pigs £1 Is to£l 63, £lips : l4s, weaner pigs 7s.
