At Eltham on the 19th inst., we had a good yarding of stock. Prices for grown cattle showed a markod improvement; yqung'stock were dull and hard to quit. Fat' cows brought £7 18s to £9, fresh conditioned cows £5 16s to £6 l§s, forward cows £4 14s to £5 2s 6d, store cows £3 12s 6d to £4 ss, Doners £2 5s to £4 Is, cows and calves £4 15s, dairy cows £8 5s to £9, bulls £4 5s to £8 10s, 20 months steers £4 ss, weaners 12s to £1 2s .6d, forward ewes 18a 4d, full-mouth ewes in lamb 13s sd, forward lambs 12s 6d', small store lambs Bs, store pigs 21s to 30s, slips 11s 6d to 18s. At Hawena on the 20th inst,, we had a good yarding of both cattle, and sheep. There was a fairly goord all round demand and practicaljy everything was disposed of.
