On Monday, 17th inst., at my Urenui yards, I had a good yarding of sheep and qattle, with a fair attendance. Bidding for sheep was quiet, but cattle were; improved/ there being a better tone in the., cattle yards, practically everything being sold at the iollowing prices:—-Two-tooth ewes 17s to 17s 10rl, 6-tooth and 4-year empty ewes 15s Bd, f.m. ewes.7s tnd 7s 6d, wethers 18s 6d, small lambs 7s, springing heifers £5 to £5 12s 6d, very prime fat heifers £8 to £8 10s, good £6 to £6 10s, fat cows £7 to £8 14s, light framed fat cows £6 3s to £6 17s. forward bullocks £8 10s to £9 9s, small fat heifers £5 10a, IS-mont'bs steers £3 6s to £4 4s, 18----months heifers £2 3s to £3, store cows £2 to £3 10s, forward cowi £4 to £4 10s, 2^-year steers £6' 12a, weaner steers £1 15s to £1 17s, weaner Jersey heifers £1 4s. ' .
