The Leipzig was a protected cruiser of 3200 tons" armed with ten 4.1 guns, the Dresden; aovz tons, has a similar armament and so has the Nurnburg (3400 tons). It will h& remembered that the bcharnhorst and Gneisenau were said to have been, since the war began, at one time within three days' steam of New Zealand.
