POLLING IN THE COUNTRY
Our Alton correspondent states that rain is falling heavily at Alton, and although both sides are working hard, it is thought that there will be a difficulty in getting all the far-away voters to the poll. Even had the weather been line, the motor-cars would have been taxed to their utmost.
