BREACHES OF LIQUOR LAW. A female defendant was fined 10s, and 7s costs, for having sent a lad under the age of 13 years to procure liquor. James Harcourt was charged, on the information of the police, that he did sell liquor to a lad under the age of la years. The oifenee was admitted and a tine of 10s and 9s costs was imposed. TOWN BOARD ELECTION. In. consequence of th© resignation of Cr VV. Bigham, who has. left the district, a poll was taken on Wednesday to fill the vacancy thus caused on the Manaia Town.
