WELLINGTON, Oct. 18. At the annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association the balance-sheet showed a balance of assets over liabilities of £84 15s. • There were now 51 clubs in the nine local associations, with a membership of 2730. ■••■■:■
The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr G,, J. Riddell (Marlborough); vice-presidents, Messrs A. S. Biss (Weiliugton) and A. J. Farinier (Auckland); secretary and treasurer, Mr A. D. Bayfield; auditor, Mr G. C. Fache; council, Messrs livnes and Bedford (Auckland), R. W. McVilly and R. Isaacs (Otago), and W. R. Menzies and J. E. Widdop (Wellington^, G. Lauchlan (Wanganui). The Marlborough Association's application for the championship regatta to be held, at Picton was granted, and it was decided that the regatta' be held not earlier than March Ist, 1915.
