The Government Meteoroligist telegraphed to-day: "Weather conditions are threatening still; northerly moderate to strong winds prevailing and freshening; expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in parts; rain probable ; the barometer has a falling tenwdency.. but is unsteady; sea moderate; tides noor."
