The second of the youthful gaol escapees, Matthews, was arrested near Glenavy on Saturday morning. He submitted quietly. Like his mate, who ■was arrested near Timaru on Friday, he had a revolver and ammunition, also •articles stolon fvoin a house at Pareora on Friday A long list of depredations is to be alleged against them.
