CHARGE QF WIFE MURDER
«V CABLE— PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPTRIGHT. SYDNEY, Feb. 6. Mullan has been committed for trial. A son of accused, on entering his parents' bedroom, found his mother on the bed with her head frightfully battered, and her nose and ear cut off, but still alive. She subsequently died in the hospital. Mullan was seen to jump, fully clothed, from the rocks, and after a desperate struggle was rescued. Dementia was suggested, but the Coroner's verdict was wilful murder.
