HAWERA HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY.
ANNUAL SHOW.
A reminder is given that entries close to-night for the Horticultural Society's Show on Thursday next. The Society is very unfortunate in there having been such an unprecedented run of rough and wet weather lately, which has played havoc with many gardens and blooms, but iFis hoped that liberal entries will be made by members aftd others of such blooms as the weather may have spared, so as to ensure the Show1 being a success. The secretary states that he has received some good outside entries in the sweet pea classes, and is expecting some others to come to hand to-day, so that the exhibition of these blooms should be a good one, and the competition keen. There are also liberal prizes offered for decorative classes, which should draw good entries. Owing:; to : tße unusual.inclemency of .the I weather it, has been decided to accept ! late entries.
