PROCESSION DISPERSED

The police dispersed a procession of two hundred suffragettes who were intending to demonstrate against .certain councillors in Bow street; Mounted constables charged the crowd, injuring several, women and children. Miss Emmerson was arrested, as also were three men who attempted to rescue her. ■.■• • •
