A NEW COUNCILLOR.
The Prime Minister informed the House that Sir W. Hall-Jones had been appointed a member of the Council. He said he had no doubt that Sir W. Hall-Jones, after his long Parliamentary experience and his term as High Commissioner, would make a valued member of the Council. Sir J. Ward expressed pleasure at the appointment.
