(Received Oct. 7, 12.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, Oct. 7. Burglars took advantage of the holidays to attempt to rob the branch of the Bank of New South Wales at the corner of York and Market streets. They -Centered the warehouse next door and picked a hole in the wall and got into •the bank. They then picked away the «ement and bricks from the wall in the strong room until they reached the steel, when they desisted.
