rraoii otje own corbespondent.} A large■ ffloniber of folks attended the tmal ot the euchre parties which have been organised by the Hall committee. \ cry keen interest was -taken throughout the season, and several had high hopes of securing the prize. The fortunate ones were: Mrs Coupe, the ladies' prize (set of spoons and su^ar tongs) and Mr H Graham, the men's (case of pipes and a pendant}. ■ The final was played off very keenly. The hall funds will benefit greatly/ as the attendance has heen very good through^ out/. KM road is now getting into good , order, except for a short piece near the top, but a little dry weather will soon help it.
