Commenting on the Atlantic cable motion cabled on Wednesday, Senator Findlay, Acting-Postmaster-General, said that the subsidiary conference regarding cable charges was stin considered necessary by. the Commonwealth, though Great Britain thinks it unnecessary, because the charges have been reduced since the subsidiary conference suggested at Coronation time.
