THE DANDIES
It is said of "the Dandies," who are to appear in the Hawera Opera House to-morrow night (for one night only) that their humor is of the wholesome variety; their dancing is neat and artistic ; while their singing is highly mentioned by the Press wherever they have appeared. Their rendering of concerted numbers is marked by that perfection borne of constant association. There is no restraint about "The Dandies." They are in perfect accord with their audience from start to finish. They set out jto interest and amuse, and proof of their success is found in the reputation which they have established since their arrival in the dominion. The company consists of Miss Hilda Lane, soprano ; Miss Evelyn Ward, contralto ; Miss Irene Vere, as soubrette and dancer; Mr Claude Damnier. comedian; Mr Gavin Wood, basso : Mr H. Peacock, baritone; and Mr George Madiccan, comedian and dancev. The musical director is Mr Leonard Griffiths, who was associated with" "The Scarlet troubadours" in a samilar capantv.
