"MYSTERY OF THE GLASS
COFFIN."
During the past few years the Eclair Film Company has produced many photo-plays, which have found instant favor with the public, and it is admitted that in "The Mystery of the Glass Coffin" the company has surpassed its other achievements. The theme, as the title suggests, is weird and mysterious, and full of unexpected incidents, but it makes a strong appeal not only to the sense of the uncanny, but to the love of splendid spectacles, in which it is said to abound. The other films for tonight's programme include "Those Eyes" (Nordisk drama), "One is Business —the Other is Crime" (A.8.), and "Positive Proof" (Essanay drama). Of the educational subjects the be'St'are ''A Day in an Austrian Iron Mine," and "The Gaumont Graphic." The comic films include the Edison burlesque, "The Yarn of the Nancy Bell." The grotesque costumes and the make-up of the mariners are in themselves extremely funny. The theme is taken from Sir W. S. Gilbert's humorous verses. The programme will be shown for one night only.
