DAIRY PRODUCE.

WEDDELL'S ANNUAL REVIEW.

DUAL PLANTS ADVOCATED

BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION, (Received July 29, 10 a.m.)

LONDON, July 28. Weddell's annual review of the produce trade says that the application of pasteurisation in New Zealand has resulted in an all- round improvement, particularly in the texture, keeping properties, and flavor. Cowiness is largely reduced, and fishiness is practically absent. New Zealand factories should erect dual plants in view of the possibility of Canada ceasing to export cheese in the not distant future. Weddell's estimate that the prices for Australian and New Zealand butter and cheese next season will be much below that of last season, but will still be above the average of the four preceding years.
