The statement of receipts and expenditure of the' consolidated' fund for- the year ended March 31, 1912, appears in to-night's Gazette. The principal items are: —Receipts: Balance at beginning of the- year, £586,483; ordinary revenue, £10,721,387; territorial revenue, £248,791; national endowment revenue, £62,365; miscellaneous sums transferred to consolidated fund; £13,175; debentures renewed, £196,200; miscellaneous. £15,541; total, £11,84,3844. Expenditure: Permanent appropriations, £3,886,618; annual appropriations, £6,553,750: transferred to public works fund, £500,000; debentures renewed, £196:200; balance at end of year, £807,275; total, £11,853,844.
