"THE NORWOODS."
The appearance of the Norwoods at the Opera House to-night is being looked forward to with keen interest. They concluded their season in New Plymouth last evening, and this morning's i Daily News says: "Seating accommodation in the Theatre Royal was taxed to its utmost capacity last night, on the occasion of the second night of the return season of Professor Norwood. The audience rollicked with laughter, or was held spell-bound at the weird and mystic nature of some of the more serious turns. Miss Winnie Norwood, while in a hypnotic trance, walked amongst the audience and, unaided and uninstructed, performed a variety of mysterious feats, illustrative of the strange powers of mental telepathy. Judged by the number of the new achievements introduced, Professor Norwood's repertoire is seemingly almost endless." The box T>lan for Hawera is now open and is rapidly filling.
