MINERS WITHDRAW FROM THE COAL BOARD.

BY CAPLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, May 12. The South Wales' Miners' Council decided not to participate further in the deliberations of the Coal Board under Lord St. Aldwyn. The South Wales -Federation confirmed the executive's recommendation to abstain from the district board pending a conference with the Miners' Federation.

Newspapers recall that clause 4 allows Lord St; Aldwyn to fix a minimum independently if the miners refuse to be reuresented.
