THAMES, Jan. 20

At the.enquiry into the May Queen mining fatality a verdict- was returned that there was no blame attachable to anyone, and that the part played by Crowley and James was deserving of high recognition by the Humane Society. The jury also added a rider that the stopping and restarting of the Roots Mower used to ventilate the deep levels should be notified to a'J mines conp.eoted therewith. Steps are be ins; taken to sc-fure for Crowley the King Edward medal.
