CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 19. At a meeting of the Canterbury Cricket Association to-night a letter was read from the Auckland Association to the effect that the dates originally fixed1 for the Plunket Shield match, Auckland v. Canterbury, February.9, 10, and 12, would, of course, be subject to alteration if Wellington defeated Canterbury. It was resolved to inform the Auckland Association that certain arrangements having been made, Canterbury was desirous that the original dates be adhered to, irrespective of the result of the.Can-terbury-Wellington match.
