MEAT.
Sales of Canterbury lamb for January shipment have been made at ojd per lb c.i.f. and Wellington lamb at 5 3-16 d. Mutton is expected to weaken in view of. the large Australian and: Argentine shipments. There- is not, however, much mutton at present leaving New Zealand, and the lamb, shipments are still very light. >■■■■<■ ,
