THE GLEBE MURDER.
AN ARREST MADE.
BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. MELBOURNE, Nov. 22. . Acting under instructions of the Sydney police, detectives arrested Campbell Moir, a dentist's assistant, aged 19, on a charge of murdering Trevascus, a mineralogist, at Glebe. The detectives learned that a young man answering to the published description applied to a dentist for employment, and went to Essendon, where they discovered Moir living in a furnished room with his wife.
SYDNEY, Nov. 22. Moir, who was recently married, left Sydney with his wife on the Sunday' after Trevascus had been murdered, and has been living in Melbourne under the assumed name of Carmichael. The Sydney police obtained specimens of his handwriting, which, it is stated compares with that in the. letter address to Trevascus from Penrith, stating he ~would call.
