Sir Joseph "Ward, Prime Minister, arrives from the south to-morrow morning, and leaves by the Main Trunk'line for Taumarunui, near which township, at a station calied Te Koura, he will, on Wednesday, turn the first sod of the railway to connect the Main Trunk line with, the Wellmitf/on-New Plymouth railway at Stratford. -He is to deliver ■a public address at Taumarunui on Wednesday evening.
