Crump occupied iw c£? ir'irmen c ? n 1 n«a1 report stated tnat the club had been revived in May 1910, and had received a legacy of £3 2s 10d from the old club. Suitable links had been obtained, and a ninehole course had been laid out. The .membership was 30. Level greens had been fenced and laid down during the summer, but they still required considerable attention. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £5 15s 7d. The following were elected officers—President Mr Rochfort; vice-president, Mr d! Syme; secretary and treasurer, Mr G. W. Tayler, jun.; committee, Messrs P. C. Ga^nham, L. Weir, T. B. Crump and J. A. D.uffill. The election of captain was held over. Four new members were proposed. The officiai evening of the gas works town hall sail take place on Monday next. The former function will be at 3.30 p.m., the latter at 8 p.m. The town streets will he lighted for the first time by gas. Townspeople are asked to co-operate with the Borough Council to ensure success.
