OPUNAKE RAILWAY.

The Hawera County Council to-day resolved to co-operate with Mr G. V. Pearce, M.P., in his deputation to the Hon. Mr McKenzie, Minister for Public Works, for the purpose of urging upon mm the immediate construction of the Opunake railway. It was agreed that all the councillors should attend if possible.
