• • LFEOM OUB OWN CORRESPONDENT.] The annual meeting of parishioners of All Saints' Church was held on Thursday night. There was a_good attendance, and the Vicar, Rev. U. vv. Dent, occupied the chair. , The report stated that the support given to the church during last year had oeen most satisfactory. The ordinary expenditure had been met, additions to the extent of £90 hacl been made to the Sunday school, donations had been made to missions and they had wiped out a deficit from the previous year, and now had a credit balance. The receipts for the year had been £150 in excess of any former years. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The, "Vicar, in his report, spoke appreciatively of the great amount of assistance he had received both from the town and outlying districts. The very satfs-' factory state of matters was a thing to be thankful for. They had made additions to the church, enlarged the Sunday school and also made additions to the •library. Their contributions to missions ■ had been larger than usual. The outlying districts, Mangatoki, Te Roti and Rawhitiroa had each contributed more than was expected, and they each had a balance in hand. He appreciated the work done by t£e secretaries and workers in the outlying districts and the intense value of the women's in his church. The following were elected church officers : Vicars' warden,. Mr L. N. Fairhall; people's warden/Mr King; vestry, Messrs R. C. Garnham, H. H. Pitcher, Bennett, U. D. Lightbourne and J. Hobbs.
