WILSONS PICTURES.

The large audience that attended Wilson's Pictures on Saturday evening at the Opera House was again demonstrative of the interest taken in this class of entertainment by the Hawera people. A wide range of attractive subjects was thrown on the screen, which together with the orchestral effects and Mr C. Lambert's vocal items made up an enjoyable evening. The scenic and industrial projections provided a strong educative element, as these dealt with the North Sea fishing industry, the vintage season, condensed milk industry and the working of cotton mills. Powerful stories were portrayed in the dramatic series, and their unfolding proved absorbing ' to a degree. The humorous films were decidedly laughter-provoking. Patrons showed marked appreciation of the " programme. A list of dates of visits to district townships is published. ' The company will again be in Hawera on Saturday.
