Wheat: The markets are quiet and firm on continued unfavorable crop reports from France. Beerbohm's rough preliminary estimate of the world's crop is 436,500,000 quarters. Chicago September wheat is quoted at 100, 102 cents. Australian cargoes are tending in buyers' favor. Thirteen thousand quarters January-February shipment sold at 38s 9d, one cargo at 40s. Australian spot is quiet at 40. Butter: The market is firm. Danish 115s to 116s. There are few sales. Stored Australian salted 106s, 108s ; New Zealand 112s, 114s. There are excellent prospects for the new season's butter Agents expect first arrival of choicest Australian to sell at 114s, 116s. Cheese: Thf market is firm. New Zealand white 58s, colored 575. Bradford wool is firm and prices unchanged.
