[press association.] CHRISTCHURCH, August 18. The Ladies' Championship meeting wa& continued t«-day, the second round being played. Following are to-day's championship results : — Miss Gorrie beat Miss Gould, M\BS Wright beat Miss V. Kettle, Miss Hlndmarsh beat Miss Symes, Miss Ashwell beat Mrs Budkley, Miss C. Pearce beat Mrs Millsop, Miss Campbell beat Miss Snodgrass, Miss Collins beat Miss Tweed, Miss Wray beat Miss A. Pearce, Mrs Borthwick beat Miss Rutherford, Miss Bell beat Mrs Handyside, Miss S. Abraham beat Mrs Barclay, Miss Brendon , beat Mtes Christie, Miss Wilson beat Mrs Holmes, Miss. Humphreys beat Miss Wood, Miss Hamlin beat Mrs Good, Miss Ledger beat Mrs Donald.
