At the Haymarket on Saturday there was a good penning of pigs, with good demand. Weaners made 5s 6d to 8s 6d, small stores 10s to 12s, forward do. 17s to dBl, porkers £1 2s 6d to £1 si, baconers £1 11s, gigs £16 10s to £38 10s, hack and harness horses £3 10s to £11 10s, nunter £16 10s, Shetland pony £13 ss. . _ At Rahotu, on Tuesday, mixed weaners made £1 8s 6d to £1 11s 6d, weaner heifers 355, forward cows £3 15s. in-calf Jersey heifers £5. - At Waiwakaiho on Thursday ther© was a strong yarding, with good demand, and practically everything sold at the hammer . Mixed weaners made 22s 6d to 235, weaner heifers £2, weaner steers 36s 6d, weaner Jersey heifers £2 9s 15 to 18-month steers £2 9s, in-calf heifers £3 15s to £4 17s 6d, springing heifers £5 13s 6d to £5 15s, springing cows £5 to £6 2s 6d, do. poor condition £3 10s to £4 2s 6d, empty heifers £2 9s, store cows £2 15s to £3 9s, forward cows £3 15s to £4, fat cows £5, boners £1 10s, bulls (good condition) £4 15s. do. small £2 3s, Jersey bull £4 7s 6d.
