HALLEY'S COMET.
SEEN FROM WANGANTJI OBSERVATORY. r [FREBB ASSOCIATION.] WANGANUI, April 13. > Halley's comet was picked up by the 1 Director of the Wanganui Observatory at 5.10 this morning. It position was R.A. 23 hours 53min, an,d north declination 7deg 55min. The nucleus was very bright, and distinctly expanded across . the major axis of the comet. The comet was distinct, and the tail could be v traced for about five minutes of the arc. It could be seen distinctly till 5.45. .
