> * i FIRE ON MOUNTAIN ROAD. (From Our Own Correspondent.) On Monday night a four-roomed house, owned by Mr Joseph Best and occupied by Mr W. T. Cleaver, , was burned to the ground about 8.30. Mr Cleaver and family had been away from home for a few days and cannot account for the fire in any way as when they left' all was apparently safe. The house was insured but the office and amount ► are not known. The Cleavers ,have lost '■ everything and as there is a young family it means a serious loss to them, " as they had no insurance and have only I the that they stand up in.
