FIREMEN SUFFER BURNS.
AUCKLAND, April 11.
An outbreak of fire in a house in Grey street, occupied by Mrs Davis, on Saturday night, was subdued by tho brigade when three rooms had been destroyed. In consequence of a, report that there wore three children in the back part of the house, Superintendent Woolley and Deputy-Superintendent Berry proceeded to investigate. They sustained burns and other injuries. The former was slightly injured and Berry severely burned. It transpired that the children had been removed to another house.
