LAWN TENNIS.
(From Our Own Correspondent.) The return match between the Opunake and Manaia Tennis Clubs was played 011 tne ivianaia green, and resulted in a win tor the home team. The visitors were entertained by the local club, and Mr -Wilson (President) welcomed the Opunake team, to which Mr Gray responded. ' Aiternoon tea was supplied by the ladies, and was in charge of Mesdames Nichols and Burke. The following are the results, Opunake being "mentioned first in eacn case : — Ladies' Singles. — Miss Ralfe 1, Miss D. Young 6; Mrs Hamilton 1, Mrs Bennett b'; Mrs Francis 2, Miss G.
