CORRESPONDENCE.

THE ROAD TO THE ZIG-ZAG.

(To the Editor.! } Sir, —The above road needs immediate attention if townspeople are to enjoy a "sniff of the briny" by the nearest route during the coming summer. The cutting through Mr Wills' paddock is absolutely dangerous, a spring -having broken out at the bottom, and the water therefrom trickles down the track for chains. A. couple of surfacemen would turn tho water effectively in a few hours. The track down the cliff is in "a desperate condition, and badly needs attention. The ladder at the bottom has lost one of its rungs, and the railings., need patching up in a couple of.places. Will the Borough Council kindly note? —I am, etc., NATATOR.
