TENNIS.

A handicap tennis tournament played between members of the local club was decided at the courts this afternoon. The weather was beautifully fine, and there was a good attendance of both players and onlookers, the games generally being well contested. The winners were found in Miss Berridge and Mr F. J. Northcott, who were; at the conclusion of the tournament presented with the trophies which were donated by the club's secretary (Mr Austin Thomas).
