BRICKLAYERS WANT NEW AWARD.

! LPER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, January 29. The Conciliation Board sat to-day to consider the application of the Bricklayers' Union of Wellington for a new award. The Board previously sat in different parts of the industrial district to hear evidence for the employers, who, it was stated, wished the matter to be dealt with by the Arbitration Court. The Chairman said the Board was disappointed at the attitude of the employers, after it had been so successful in the previous difference.
