William Diamond, a medical practitioner, who was concerned in the moto» car accident at Addington on the, night of 22nd February, when Sydney Raymond Merritt received fatal injuries, was charged before Mr V. G. Day, S.M., at the Police Court this afternoon with causing the death of- Merritt by his negligent and improper driving, and thereby committing; the crime of manslaughter.
