The wheat markets are lifeless, the weakness of American counteracting the bullish feeling in Europe due to ibo damage oi crops and the small shipments. Cargoes are dull ; 34s 9d is asked and 34s 3d bid for New South Wales off the coast ; 34s is asked for South Australian May siliipir.ent. For Australian on spot there is good enquiry at 36s 6d t» 375. New Zealand, nominal, short berried 33s 6d, long ■ homed 34s 6d. Flour is scarce and firm. Australian ; London quotation 25s to 265, Glasgow quiet, (holders asking 26s 9d).
