NATIVES POISONED.
THROUGH EATING DISEASED TURTLE. [PKISB AISOCT4TTOIT.' 1 , AUCKLAND, September 7. It was recently announced from Fiji tihat some natives at Nudu Pomi were poisoned through eating turtle. The incident was mnoh more serious than at first ' Anticipated. No less than 28 deaths, iaohiding a family of five, have taken place from this one cause, and still several patients are suffering.
