Herr Tscristchky,. the new German Secretary of State>|or k Foreign Affairs, speaking', in the/ Reichstag, said there were strong grounds for believing that German interests would not be affected even} if Britain and Russia arrived at an understanding regarding their Asiatic relations. The Triple Alliance now stands firmer, Italy having n¢ly given explicit assurances to that effect. * Hf added that Britain's welcome to the Burgomasters wae heartily reciprocated by the German Government and people. '
