A LAD DROWNED.
CHRISTCHURCH, April 9. On Sunday afternoon a lad named Oswald Robert Elby, while fishing, fell off the wharf at Lyttielton and was drow>ned. To-day, at the inquest, a verdict was returned that death \ya6 due to accident, a recommendation being added that the Harbor Board should place life-buoys on the wharf.
