At the instance of Mr Taverner, AgentGeneral for New South Wales, the AgentsGeneral wrote to Mr Austen Chamberlain, Chancellor of the Exchequer, thanking him for calling attention to the frauds in connection with British manufactured wine, which are a serious menace to the Australian wine industry. Mr Chamberlain replied that he had introduced a clause dealing with the question into the Revenue Bill now before Parliament.
