LIQUOR IN NEW GUINEA.
(Received November 29, 11.57 p.m.) MELBOURNE, November 29. In the House a new clause was proposed in the Papua Bill, prohibiting tne tale of intoxicants in New Guinea. An amendment giving the Government control of the liquor traffic was rejected.
