SCOTTISH ENTERTAINERS.

All musical people and especially those who love thu old Scotch songs, and are lovers of the "Kaijyard School," should find much to interest and entertain them in the programme of the Scottish Entertainers, Miss Flora F. Donaldson and Mr Gavin Spence, who make their first and only appearance in the local Opera House on Friday, October 7. They come to Hawera in their prime, accredited with success won during a world-wide tour. Their, programme is .diversified, and includes selections from the best-known Scottish song writers, poets, and novelists. The programmes submitted have met with the utmost favor in other lands, and more recently in the South Island, where they are now appearing to large and enthusiastic audiences. Throughout their travels their work has met the approval of the bust English and American critics. The following press criticism from Illinois speaks for itself: "The Congregational Church was filled to overflowing to listen to the two greatest Scottish entertainers in the world. Nonp was disappointed, and all were pleased beyond expectation." The box plan opens on Saturday next at Cole and J)opn«lly't.
