Durinc last week wo held sales at WanB.KT!Sd Waverley. At W.np«u w. find a full yarding of both cattle and sheep and at Waverloy we had a fair iSSy 'of cattle and a small entry of sheep. Tho*bid.ding for cattle was dull under he hammer, but we suceeded in quitting the moTt of them at slightly .lower «ato the sale. Sheep were in much demand, and, if anything, a liitle l»gh«. At Wanganui, we quote :— Gat tie . *at bullocks (light weightsj, £7 15s 6d; fat cows, from £5 10s to £6 15s; 3-year bullocks', £4 12s; 24-year steers, from £4 to £4 4s; yearlings, £2 9s; 2-year stetrs, £3 17s 6d 5 springing heifers, £4 12s; weaners, 295; empty heifers, £3 6s; cow, in calf £4. Sheep: Fat wethers, 21s 7d to tol fat ewes, 17s 6d to 18s; fat and forward ewes, 15s; hoggets, 12s 9d to 16s 2d. Pigs : Porkers, 18s to 275 ; store pigs, 15s; weaners, 8s to 11s. At Waverley— Cattle : 24-year steers, £3 4s ; yearlings (mixed), £2 13s to i 3; weaners, £2 3s; 3-year forward bullocks, £6 2s 6d ; 18-month steers, £3 4s 6d ; 18month to 2-year steers, £3; springing heifers, £5 ss. Shee.p : Hoggets, 13s lid to 15s; fat sheep (mixed), 18s Bd.
